Access to CSV translation/Conversion Programmer needed...

Hello...

Looking for talented individual to assist me in writing a program to
take a given ms-access database and manipulate and output a CSV file.

Need to output some fields by combining several fields from within the
access database -- mostly text fields that are being put togather to
form a full product description.

Need some mathematical calculations to be performed.

Need some cross referencing to another access file to determine product
types, and based on the values in the second access file, output
appropriate information to the CSV file.

Need validation that all products in first file, exist in second file
-- if not, they must be added to the second access file with "default"
values.

Have a full white paper on the exact translations and exports that are
needed.

Please contact me at do********@bigd esert.net.

this is a brain dead question. So you create a query to get all the
fields you want then you output that to a CSV file. Terribly tough.
Gimme lots of money and I'll write it.

Well, there is much much more to it than that. If it was a simple
query, I could do it myself rather simply and not need the paid
assistance of anyone.

I don't think I'll be considering anyone for the project who starts out
"This is a brain dead question..."

I don't think I'd follow through on an inquiry from a potential
client who was no better at explaining the requirements than you are
-- if they can't outline what they want clearly enough for me to
understand why they can't do it themselves, then it's unlikely that
communication is going to improve.

There will certainly be those who will respond. I'd wager I know one or two
regular posters in this newsgroup who will, in fact.

I do not make the assumption that any client will be sufficiently
well-versed to create their own Requirements Document, with clarity and
rigor.

I view that it is the function of a business data analyst to work with the
client to elicit the details needed to fully express and to document the
Requirements (that analyst may or may not also be the designer and
implementer of the solution to those Requirements).

Is there any generic way to use C++ libraries from within Python. I seem to recall that there are tools to generate wrappers for C-libraries semi-automatically. But those were still way too cumbersome, IMHO. What I would like to have is some module (or whatever), with which I can say "load this C++ library", and then, "create that C++ object" or "call method x of C++ object y".

Is there anything that gives a good description of how source code is converted into a translation unit, then object code, and then linked. Folks once again I look forward to your invaluable assistance. When converting an Access 2002 mdb back to Access 1997 using the Access 2002 inbuilt tools I receive the following error message "Some errors happened during the conversion. No converted database was generated". This message is not of great assistance to me in sorting out the error!! I have not been able to find any helpful support on where to start looking

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been able to solve my problem. I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has many Access reports. I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a pdf file and save it to the user's machine. I am using Adobe Acrobat (5.0 I think) and have Adobe Distiller as a

Hi, I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything is good. If I scheduled the job to run at the time that I am not logged into the server, Access is not able to print to the printer. The error is pretty...

Do I get more scalability if I split my database? The way I calculate things now, I'll be lucky to get 100,000 records in my Access 2003 mdb. Here some math: Max mdb/mde size = 2000 x 1024 = 2,048,000k Let's say on average each record in the database consumes 15k 2,048,000/15 = 136,533 records

My establishment has about 20 ms access db's that will be converted over (see subject). When we pull all the BE's over to SQL and the FE's on Sharepoint (.net) surely we don't have to change every user face, we should be able to use the same FE in as before as now on Sharepoint? ANSWER:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
