Lining up columns on subreport with main report

Hello everyone,

I have a subreport that calculates a YTD average. The main report
shows the averages by month.

So the subreport has the same columns as the main report.

Is there a way to easily line up the columns on the subreport with the
columns on the main report?

I cant seem to select a control on the subreport and one on the main
report and click align left, right, etc.

Ty,
Brian

Hi all, I created a main report with a subreport. I want to display this subreport 8 times but with different data. (I do that with subreport.RecordSource = "sqlstring") HOW do I set this RecordSource for the subreports, in other words, how do I know on what subreport I'am on when opening the main report. Or are there better way's to...

Main report contains one large graph in the detail band (no detail records). Subreport snakes just fine (5 columns) when opening by itself. When I add it to the main report (in the report footer), it shows just 1 column and spills over to 5 pages. I've tried moving the subreport to the detail band: no go. All bands/objects are set to...

I have a main report (single column report and page headers and footers) and a 4 column subreport in the detail section. The report will generally be a single page. Everything prints fine except that I cannot get the report footer onto the same page as the subreport, it always goes onto another page even when there is obviously room for it on...

I've got an A2K report showing students and their costs. Student info is in the main report and costs are in a subreport for each student. The user inputs the program desired then only those students in that program are printed. I want the subreports headings to print only for the first student on the page. Is there a way to suppress...

I know this is kind of a weird question, but is there anyway to give a subreport control of a main report? I posted my situation earlier about having drawings print out after a group. I have a report grouped by part group that lists the part numbers needed from that group. I have force new page after each group. This gives me a list of...

Hello, I have a report which uses a subreport. When I run the report, I get "Enter Parameter Value" error message for "tblGuestRoom". I click ok and the report seems to work fine. I narrowed down this error to the Link Master Fields property setting, when I tried the same scenario with form/subform. It gave me error: 'The Link Master...

I have a report that I run every quarter. When I opened it this quarter, one of the subreports is not displaying. No error message - just nothing displays where the subreport data should be. If you run the subreport on its own, it displays fine. It just won't display on the main report. I tried deleting and readding the subreport. No luck....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
