Import of html tables to access, but fills a column instead of a row.

Import of html tables to access (or exel), but it fills a column
instead of a row.
I have tried to import a html tables to access/exel, but both exel and
access fills a column instead of a row.

(or if you prefer a it fills a on field with several data records,
instead of filling all the fields with one data record).

With an example i have both height, width, weight and so fort but in
the first field/column - instead of as I which spread out on all the
columns.

Any suggestions?

I changed from Access97 to AccessXP and I have immense performance problems. Details: - Access XP MDB with Jet 4.0 ( no ADP-Project ) - Linked Tables to SQL-Server 2000 over ODBC I used the SQL Profile to watch the T-SQL-Command which Access ( who creates the commands?) creates and noticed:

I have a report that's created each day as a flat textfile. Because I came from the Access world, I created a macro that imports it with a schema that gives meaningful names to the various columns, and then uses a query to massage some of the data for me (deletes the first blank row and does a couple of calculations) Then I use DTS to import the Access query as a table. the textfile has a column called "File_num", and among several...

I'm restarting this thread with a different focus. The project I'm working on now id coming along and will be made to work, and it's too late to start over with a new strategy. Still, I'm not coming to a firm conclusion over whether it was the better approach, and wonder if I should do it differently the next time I'm faced with a similar issue. I needed an app to automatically import from spreadsheets with a semi-dynamic structure,...

I'm using PHPMyAdmin on an Apache2Triad install (latest version; 5.x.x, which installs PHP5 and PHPMyAdmin 2.8 as well). In Access, I exported a table to a text file, tab-delimited, text qualifyer of "none" (this is how I read to do it from newsgroups). When I use the Query window in phpmyadmin to import the text file, it waits a while, then returns an error: #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that...

I need to import multiple tab delimited files for which I do not have the formats. All files have column headers in the the line. The files must be dynamic. The only common value is that the files are text and use tabs to delimit the column data. I can not use the File/Import as people using the program do not have the necessary experience to perform this function. Therefore, I need to programtically create unique tables for each...

Hello, I've just started to work with DB2 (using the express edition version 9.5 under windows vista) and I'm accessing it through a java program (my java's very rusty). The java program loads the driver, connects and tries to create two tables. That works just fine. Then it tries to import data into one of the tables but it seems I can't use an import command with Statement.execute() because an exception is thrown if I attempt to do this....

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
