How do I import while mapping an excel table to an access table please???
I've searched around and all I can find is a software product or code that
does the same thing as the access wizard.....
If I have to write vb code, where is a sample???
Or do I import the excel in to a new spreadsheet and then

Hi
I would like to extract only 15 records at a time from the backend in
alfabetic order. Click on a button and then the next 15. Reason data must
come over a 56k modem.
The data is not alphabetticaly in database.
Any ideas how to right such a function
thanks alfred

I'm wondering if anyone has come across something like this before and could
offer some suggestions.
I need to extract all the Single values packed in a Long Binary field (4k
chunks) and then export to Excel.
The challenge is arranging the values in columns and rows so they can be
exported and land in Excel properly for charting. The way the data is
packed in the LB field can be illustrated like this:

Hi,
My 1st post ..
I'm writing an import routine to open a dynamically uploaded excel file, import the data into an MS SQL database, save an image which is always in the same location - named 'picture4', close the file and then delete it.
Text/numeric information I can manipulate no problem since I discovered I must 1st set a Named Range, however I cannot figure out how to access and extract the image and save it to the server.
I've...

Hi,
I have gone throught the group and Microsoft's online help and have
seen many suggestions but I am still seeking clarity:
1. I have an excel spreadsheet. Column A contains text that may be
greater than 255 characters.
2. I have an access database. I link (not import) to the contents of
the excel spreadsheet. In the design view in access, Column A has the
data type "memo".

We own a variety of components that work with Excel files
in a web environment (of course we can't use Excel
automation in a high traffic web environment). SpreadSheet Gear (great
component),
Syncfusion, formula one, and various others.
However, none of them appear to have the capability of
discovering a chart in Excel and extracting it as a byte array
or offer a conversation between its discovered settings to
a chart control of their...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
