In the code I supplied before this one, the cause of the problem is an
access violation error. When I run the debugger it skips into what I
can only assume is the compilers version of my code. And I don't know
where the problem lies in the code. Can anyone run it through there
own compiler please and tell me where and what the problem is.

Back in my mainframe days a crash dump could be parsed by hand to
reveal the application program running at crash time as well as the
offset into said program, which combined with a extended program
listing could be used to determine the partcular application program
statement that killed the thing.
I realize this is a totally different world, but is there a way at
least to determine which form had control at access-decides-to-croak...

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been
able to solve my problem.
I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has
many Access reports.
I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command
button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a
pdf file and save it to the user's machine.
I am using Adobe Acrobat (5.0 I think) and have Adobe Distiller as a

I'm still using Office 2000 myself, but some of my clients have Office 2003.
I've recently added a piece of code to create an instance of Word, open a
document, fill in the blanks and become visible so the document can be
printed and/or modified.
This all takes place within one form, in which the Word.Application and
Word.Document objects are both private form-level variables. Just to be on
the safe side I included this piece of code in...

Our company has been acquired by another company and we are going thru the
integration process. One of the "Day 1" items is settling on a departmental
database used to track departmental functions. A former employee built our
Access application, however he is now long gone. During the 2 years he's
been gone, the application has worked just fine with no problems. The new
acquiring company's department has a like application (not sure if...

I have a weird problem in Access 2007.
I've been working in A07 for about 2 weeks when this thing began
occurring.
I'm working in the VB Code Editor and set break points for event
procedures.
The weird thing is sometime the code breaks and sometimes it doesn't
at the very same spot.
Does someone know if this is a bug in A07?
I'm stumped

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
