create new textbox at runtime

I need to create a crosstab report that does not need the user to know
the total number to columns and manually add a new textbox and amend
the VBA code. The VBA code should handle everything from getting the
total number of col and create the exact number of textbox. Tat's is,
the user only need to ran this report and tat's it.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;328320
This information from msdn is only dynamic when the user update the
report textbox and VBA coding.

So far, i managed to get the total number of col but unsuccessful in
creating the new textbox. Can this be done at all?

If it's possible, can someone teach me how.
Thank in advance.

Check out CreateControl() in help. It's mainly used for wizards and
such, but I found some uses for dynamic forms and reports.

Hi All, i want to create a dynamic crosstab report. The method shown in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;328320 is not a dynamic report as it require the user to manual add new textbox if there's a new employee. What i actually want is the report do not require the user to change anything before running the report. The report will check the total num of col and create the exact number of textbox on the report.I...

I have a legacy application that I need to build a Windows Forms application to interface with it. The legacy application keeps its configuration information in INI style files. I wish to use a PropertyGrid on the form to allow the user to adjust the configuration of the legacy app. The problem I am facing, however, is that the legacy app can still be changed and new configuration items can be added/removed from the configuration files...

Hi, I have a user control that has a textbox. This user control is placed in a form at runtime. This form gives a string to the user control and the textbox is to show this in multiple lines.(i do so using a property to set the textbox's text property) So in designer view i set the multiline property to TRUE and the word wrap property to TRUE. This enables the text to be shown in multiple lines at runtime. But the textbox size does not...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
