Our production database in an exported textfil runs about 60 MB.
Compressed that's about 9 MB.
I'm trying to import the export into another machine running FC3 and
mySQL 11.18, and it appears as though the file may be too big!
When I try to do it via command line:
mysql -u root --host=localhost printing < ./printing.txt
It eventually errors out with a "syntax error on line X" and only about

All,
I have an import spec set up with quoted Identifiers and comma-separated
values. The text file is produced by a 3rd-party program of which I have no
control. It outputs all text fields surrounded by quotes, and all numeric
fields w/o quotes. All fields are separated with commas.
This has been working for 2 years, until today, when one of the data fields

I've searched this goup for an answer to this, there are many
discussions that come close but non that I can find that actually
addresses this particular problem.
I'm exporting queries to Excel. These queries have memo fields in them
Each memo field is trunkated, i.e cuts off after 255 characters.
Is there any way either via VBA or otherwise to get all my memo text to
export to Excel.
I note that there is no such limit when exporting...

I'm try to Unload DB2 data from a table into a record sequential file
on NT. I can an unload on Mainframe, but it doesn't seem to be an
option in NT.
In NT, all I can do is export/import. I can do a Load too, but not an

web user interface. We are investigation which file format would be the most
efficient format to import export relational data.
So far we came up with two options: XML and Access MDB files and we prefer
MDB files.

I have 2 problems:
1. I want to import a single text file into an access table using a
Macro. I am however getting an error that I need to put a
specification name argument. What does this mean? It also suggests
that I add a schema.ini in the source folder. What does this .ini do
and how do I create and use it?
2. After this is resolved, I would like to be able to import several
text files using a macro into the same table.

I've read that one method of repairing a misbehaving database is to
save all database objects as text and then rebuild them from the text
