Run .reg file for all users of a network

I have a .reg file that I need to run across a network. Currently, we run
it for each logon on the network manually, which is not really working well
as there are over a hundred users and they don't necessarily all use their
own machines all the time. How does the system administrator run a .reg
file for all users on the network. If this is off topic, could you please
direct me to an area where I might get a response. The reason for doing
this does involve an Access application

Hi
? run reg.exe (resource kit) from a batch file with the names of all
the machines.

After logon scripts, the simplest methods are to put the .reg file on
a shared drive or email it to users ans ask them to run it themselves,
but (i) they may never do it and (ii) they may not have permissions.

Hi, I have a MS Access 2000 database on the network, it is secured and the mdw file is on the network. The database works for most of the users on the network, but does not open for two of the users. It gives "CANNOT LOCK FILE" error. There is really no difference between these two users and the other users who can log on to the database....

I'm not talking Access Users & Groups, I may or may not implement that. Even if I do file/folder rights still need to be managed. I've searched the archives and read the many postings. The basic problem seems to be this: Access is a 'file server' based system. So if you want your users to use the db they've got to have access to the file....

The basic purpose of the site is for authenticated users to post event listings, which often include photographs. The user is faced with a page where they can insert all of the information about the event in a typical form with textboxes, drop down lists, etc. On this page there are also 4 file upload controls where the user can select 0 to...

To support a webfarm scenario, I'd like to store a global array (serialized) in a file on a network share. In this array there is a list of pages "locked" by other users so I need to read this array at every page access to detect if the page is "free" so the user can access it; when the user can access the page, the page is added to the array...

Hello group Is there any way to tell, if a file is on a network share? I know the path to the file, so I can easily get a FileInfo object, and I can also use the Path class. However I can't find any way to use this information to determine if the file is on a local disk, or on a mapped network drive. I'm asking, because I'm trying to...

Here is the situation: I wrote a VB programm, which stores all the information in a single Access database file using jet engine. The customer told me that there no 'illegal'...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
