Error deleting record from subform

I am having trouble deleting a record from a subform. I actually have
a main form with two subforms, one dependent on the record selected in
the other. The user selects a record to view on the main form and
then can add/edit info on the first subform, which then allows you to
enter related info on the second subform. When I try to delete a
record from the first subform (and cascade all related records from
the second subform), the application locks up and gives an error that
operation is not allowed with transaction.

How can I allow the user to delete a record?

I'm experiencing a Query Syntax Error with an Access 97 Db. Actually, the query performs as expected when adding any new records or editing existing ones and even deleting records, EXCEPT when the last record on any related subform is deleted, then it generates a Runtime Error 3075 - Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'IDRef = '-- of course, because there are no more records left with the same IDRef number, or none...

Hi, I have a form which contains a subform. Both are were creetd using the form wizard and are bound by the column IXO_NR (on two different tables), which is the control source for a textbox on both the parent and subform. The intent was to default the subform's IXO_NR to the parent form's IXO_NR, then requery the subform to prevent the user from having to scroll through all of the subform's records to find the one they may be looking for....

I have a list of records in a subform that a user can either edit or delete. This is an unbound form. If the user deletes a record, I want to refresh the form, and then position the cursor on the next record on that subform. This seems like that this should be a fairly easy thing to accomplish, but I cannot get it to reposition the cursor on the next record. The following is my code segment: Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! ...

I put a command button on my main form 'Delete Record'. I want to highlight a row on my datasheet(subform) and click the delete button on the main form and have it delete the record I have highlighted in the subform. I have used the following code behind the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
