I have a subreport that displays the addresses of suppliers. Its
source table has fields for the name, street, city/state, and ZIP code
for easier querying. However, for display purposes, I put the
city/state and ZIP together and put that value in txtCityAndState.
When I run the report, the print preview looks perfect. When I print
it, though, txtCityAndState is blank. I've tried putting the same
code I used to fill this textbox in the...

I've got an unbound text box on a subreport that doesn't display all
it's data. At most the data may be 50 words long. The text box is 2"
wide and only enough text to fill the width once is printed. I
verified thru debug that all of the data is getting put into the text
box. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks for any help or advice.

Sorry if this becomes a repeat! I am having trouble with my newsreader and
don't know if this got posted yeserday or not or if anyone responded.
A form in my database has multiple subforms. If any subform has no data, the
borders of the subform still display on screen and also are printed if I
print the main form. Reports are different. If a subreport has no data, the
borders of the subreport do not appear in Print View nor do they print...

I am STUCK!
I have an Access2000 report; main report and subreport. The sub report
is 2 columns, with a footer controlled by a value in a field.
The Report Footer should have SUM of values in the report.
My problem is that the Report footer of the Subreport doesn't print!
The main report prints fine; the sub-report prints fine, except there

I have a subreport that can contain one or two pictures per page. The
subreport is similar to an appendix to the main report. The recordsource
contains a field "IncludeInReport" (Yes/No) for each picture record. What
code do I use and where does it go to prevent printing the subreport if
there are no picture records marked "Yes" in the "IncludeInReport" field?
Thanks,
Tom

Dear reader,
In case a report is a sub report the Report Header of the sub report is
printed in the report but the Page Header of the sub report will not be
printed. This is the same for Page Footer of the sub report.
Is there a possibility to force printing Page Header and Page Footer of a

Hi all! I have one Main Report with 6 subreports. The titles for these subreports are all in the detail section of the Main report above each subreport and the headers of each subreport is in the report header section. My question:
When viewing or printing the report, is there a way to get the headers to also print on the next page if the subreport spans two pages?
Thanks in advance!

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
