Colored Background in Command Buttons. Is it Possible?

Is it possible to make command buttons (in forms) have a background
color? Or is there a means to simulate a command button and make it
have a background color and able to kickoff a 'click' event?

Thanks.

Use a label or use a bitmap for the button that gives it the color you
want.

The special effect properties of a label can be changed in the MouseDown
and MouseUp events to make it act much like a button. It can't have focus
though the way a button can.

You can also place a transparent button over a colored label.

Access has nothing built-in to allow for changes in the command button
backcolor. There are some third-party tools that may help:

A shareware version of Button Painter for MS Access is available at
this web site: http://www.peterssoftware.com/bp.htm

Some simple colored button examples that can be copied into your
application are available at: http://www.peterssoftware.com/clrbtn.htm

Stephen Lebans has an example database that shows how to set a command
button back color and more: http://www.lebans.com/cmdbutton.htm

There are nice "Color Command Buttons" downloads at this site:
http://www.candace-tripp.com/access_downloads.htm

Hope this helps,

I have been playing around with this task for some hours now, and can't seem to find a way. A couple of easy questions here hopefully. I've been working on two different database projects which make use of multiple forms. 1. If in the footer, how do you add them to the...

I've got a Windows Forms application. There is a form that may be shown by clicking a command button on either of 2 other forms. I use ShowDialog in all cases to get modal behavior.
