OK, I've been taking the detour from hell trying to sort this and after
taking a walk I think I need a rethink.
I have a report for a single employee that includes a subreport which lists
courses taken by that person.
I ask the user for Start and End dates to allow them to see only courses
that fall into that date range. I'm then trying to open the report to show
the current employee with a list of courses that fall within the date...

I've got a report with a subreport linked on fund number. The
subreport returns 2 columns of dollar amounts, both current and YTD,
by object code for the selected fund number. The user can select one
or many funds.
I create a query for the subreport's recordsource in the open event.
My problem is that if there's more than one fund number, YTD amounts
from the first fund number show up on the 2nd fund numbers' report,
overwriting the...

The main report shows all medical conferences for a resident by year,
by month. A resident can attend many of the same conferences in a
year. In the year footer, I have a subreport that summarizes all
conferences and the number of times attended. This data is stored in
an array that is updated during the printing of the report detail.
I cannot do a simple grouping/counting of conferences. For some
conferences, the resident has to be...

I've got an unbound text box on a subreport that doesn't display all
it's data. At most the data may be 50 words long. The text box is 2"
wide and only enough text to fill the width once is printed. I
verified thru debug that all of the data is getting put into the text
box. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks for any help or advice.

I have a report that's fairly simple, page headers and footers, detail
has a subreport in (can vary in length). The customer wanted a signature
block for them, their client and 3rd party. This was no problem, couple
of boxes and labels in the report footer.
Now customer wants this signature block on the foot of page 1 (stoopid
IMO as that implies people read page 1 where at the end implies they
read past page 1 at least).
Anyway to...

I know this is kind of a weird question, but is there anyway to give a
subreport control of a main report?
I posted my situation earlier about having drawings print out after a
group. I have a report grouped by part group that lists the part
numbers needed from that group. I have force new page after each
group. This gives me a list of parts on each page. I want to print
the needed drawings after the groups/list of parts. There are...

I have a report which has 3 sub-reports in the detail section. Everything
(subforms, detail section) is set to Can Grow and Can Shrink as True.
I have one record in which one of the subforms has about 7 detail items and
the other subforms have several detail items. When I try and print this
record it does not get past "Formating - Hit Control-Break" in the status
line. When I delete a couple of the 7 line items, it prints fine. Is...

Hi,
I'm new to crystal report and require a help urgently.
My requirement is something like this.
I have a main report from where I call 2 subreports,
say summary and details.
The main report has a group based on a certain column and say this
results in "n" distinct groups. The details of each group I'm getting
from a subreport.

Hi
I have a main report in which I have inserted a sub report. I have a formula field on the main report and one on the sub report. I want the formula in the
subreport to be evaluated after the formula in the main report. The sub
report is called in the report header of the main report and the
formula fields are in the details section of the reports.
Main report looks something like this.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
