ListBox multi selection string

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a string based on the selections in a
multi-select list box, ie - getting a result such as "a,b,c,d,e" . I
have no problems doing this binding together the values of the first
column of the list box (which happens to be the bound column), but
what I need to do is the same thing but with the values of the second
column ...I'm just not sure of how to refer to this second column to
get this working (the end goal is to whack this string into a report
label). I have tried a few things to get it going, but not being a
coder I need some help.

So how would I need to adjust the code below to refer to the second
column of the list-box? ...or as it is not the bound column, do I have
to approach it in a different manner?

For Each varitem In Me.lstMyListBox .ItemsSelected
If MyStr = "" Then
MyStr = "'" & Me.lstMyListBox .ItemData(varit em) & "'"
Else
MyStr = MyStr & ", '" & Me.lstMyListBox .ItemData.Colum n(varitem)
& "'"
End If
Next varitem

Thanks all

You can refer to additional columns in a listbox via:

Me.lstMyListBox .Column(nCol, nRow)
where nCol and nRow are zero-based indexes.

i.e. Me.lstMyListBox (3, 4) would refer to the 4th column in the 5th row.

When I step through the debugger it all seems to be working properly until the Load function is called, and then all my selections but 1 are unselected. Anybody had any experience with this and know of a fix? Listbox is databound Listbox appears on a tabpage inside...

This is probably embarrassingly simple, but I've been trawling through this ng for hours now and my brain hurts. I've got an unbound multi-column listbox (multi-select=none) whose rowsource is a query based on a combobox selection. After the selection is made from the combobox the listbox may, or may not, have records in it. If it doesn't, no problems, I've got; If Me.lbxContacts.ItemsSelected.Count = 0 Then

Hello, I am trying to create a listbox that users can select multiple entries on. I want Access to put each on of those selections in a different row on a particular table. This table will also include the primary key of the parent form of the form that has the listbox. Here is the code that I have. Right now it will put all of the selections from the listbox into one row. Private Sub Category_Click()

Hi, I have a odd but a known question about listbox. I know listbox control can provide multi-select, multi-extendend selections. But i wonder if this selection type belongs to them or it has another tecnique. As you may know, in softwares like Windows Media Player or Winamp playlist has a listbox and it can be selected in 2 types. First type refers to player's own selection and second selection type can be done by user to look for...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
