editing custom menus and short-cut menus

Hi,

I am working with a DB with custom menus. I am trying to get the
"send to -> mail recipient (as attachment)" to show up on the custom
menu. However, for the life of me I can't seem to get the "send to"
part to show up. I can add the "mail recipient (as attachment)", but
not the "send to". Any ideas?

Furthermore, I also want to add "send to..." to the short-cut menu
(i.e. when a user right clicks on a report), but I'm not sure how to
do this.

Finally, can someone tell me how you can tell what is on a custom menu
and what is not? When I look at the custom menu when the DB has been
opened in design view by holding down the shift key, I see the custom
menu bar, but each drop down item shows all possible commands. When I
open the DB the way the end-user would, I see a restricted set of
options. How can I tell in design view which ones the user will see
and which they won't?

Thanks in advance.

I would like to define a custom operator in Python. (It is not about overloading an existing operator but about defining special new operators) Is this possible without deeply manipulating the Python code? Are side-effects to be expected? What about operator precedence?

I'd like to modify the standard .net list box to allow in place editing of the data. I am owner drawing a complex listbox item, but first off, is this even advisable? I have a simple list and I'd like the user just to be able to right click, selected edit, and be thrown onto the listbox to edit. I tried dropping a textbox onto the item in the Drawitem function, but I

hi, i have put my web.sitemap in /App_Data so i can edit it programatically via a web admin page, inheriting the modify permissions from the App_Data folder etc. i was hoping the provider would simply persist any changes i made, but it doesn't happen. e.g. selected.ParentNode.ChildNodes.Remove(selected); throws a NotSupportedException "Collection is read-only"

Hi there I have a Propertygrid in a C# project that has a number of IP addresses displayed. What I would like to do is to a) Edit them in-place as the 4 octets, ie edit them as xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx possibly using the IPControl, and b) validate them on losing focus in the editing area. I've done a lot of googling, and frankly, I am now confused!

However, the code I've been using just flashes my custom text and reverts back to "Run Query". After the query completes my second custom message is displayed. This is the code I'm using: Dim strStatus as String Dim varStatus as Variant strStatus = "Custom Text...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
