Date field

Hello, I need to add a date function in a field that returns a future
date.

What I need is to show a field with a date referred to the next two
years in mm/yyyy format.

Example: This month is 11/2003. I need to show in the text box:
11/2005.

THanks.

Place the following in the control source of the field to display the new
date.
=DateAdd("yyyy" ,2,[FieldNameWithSm allerDate])
In the field's format property type mm/yyyy. This will display the new date
how you want.

I'm tearing out my hair here: ACCESS 2000: When I attempt to overwrite a date in my date field with a new user selected valid date eg: 05/23/99 my date field changes to the TIME I updated the field and does not display my desired date: 05/23/99 Instead it reads: 12:12:03 AM I am going nuts - even considering converting the field to text. The field

This concerns an Access 2002 (XP) database. There are two fields, "Notes" (Memo Field) and "Notes Update" on a form (among others) which I am concerned with here. Problem: I need to be able to tell when people have added notes to a record. (this database contains 6000+ records) I want to set it up so that "Notes Update" is updated to the current date whenever someone actually enters data into, or modifies data in, the "Notes"...

Hello, help please. I have a little macro that copies the date from a date/time field to a memo field, BUT instead of going to the memo field it finds the first date/time field and tries to copy there. My first thought is to change the date to text but how? Thanks!!! Monica

Hi, I'm new to access and am very wary of dates as I have limited experience in their manipulation and I know if they're not done properly things can turn ugly quickly. I would like to use a calendar control to allow my users to enter a date but I need them to enter a time as well. It doesn't look like the calendar control will allow times to be entered so I was thinking of having two text boxes. One text box would contain the date...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
