I am doing data entry on Access, where they had already designed the data sheet. I am needing to enter a number in a field that was already made. But when I single click and type nothing happens. When I double tap it... it says

"OLE Object is empty, You can't edit a bound object frame if the field in the underlying table doesn't contain an OLE object. Right-click field, click insert object, and use the dialog box to locate and add the object to the field."

I've done this and selected NUMEROUS different objects. Nothing makes it just able to put a number in it... That is all I need is to be able to tab out of my prior field and enter a number and move on!

HELP PLEASE!

carney1031,

Are you the designer of this Access project, or just the user? I fyou are just the user, looks like you will have to contact the DB Administrator (the one who designed the project) and request their assistance. It looks like there is something wrong with their settings for that control.

If you are the designer, please provide a little more information on this form.
