Using a third party DLL from MS Access 2010

2 New Member
I have an Access application which works fine in earlier versions of MS ACCESS on earlier platforms. I am now trying to get it to work in Access 2010 on Windows 7.

In earlier versions I simply had to put the DLL in c:\windows\system32

I am currently getting error 48 File not found.

Anyone got some ideas? Security? different directory? some sort of setting adjustment?

The DLL does not 'register' with regsvr32 and hence can't be registered in MS-Access either.

In hope
