DataGridView Bound inputMask Column

Hi,

I know this has been asked previously but I can't seem to find the correct solution to my problem.

I have a dataGridView that is bound to one of my database tables, as soon as the form loads, the grid is filled with data from the table, the user can add, edit and delete the records. My problem is that when the user adds a row, one of the columns should require a specific format (an input mask) such as : EV-10002-01, I want the empty cell in the column to show __-_____-__ .

I know one solution would be to add an unbounded column, but my datagridview is bounded to a table and I don't see how this would help... I'm not an expert programmer but I'm very eager to find a solution to this problem, please if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
