Computer to SMS through a vb application

66 New Member
Hi,

I’ve been approached to create a system where a flower shop can would like to send a sms it clients when a floral delivery is being dispatched, I am currently creating a database for the company which will eventually be used as a dynamic website.

I have coding experience predominately in v.b but really don’t know if it’s possible to create a system from scratch with any real experience.

Scope:

the user wants to click a button on their pc to send a pre defined sms to the client..

if you can point me in the right direction or where would be the best place to start i would be very grateful for this..

Regards

Jason

Hi.

I am a new developer in VB. however i have been trying to the same thing. For my system we are using a code from a certain bulk sms provider(WinSMS.co.za). In essence we didn't start code from scratch, we just integrated their code on our system, but we havn't tested it yet but it looks like it will work.

Keep me posted if anything comes up for you.
