Terminating applications

Hi,
I want to terminate all runing applications when my application executes.
How can i do this.
And How can i detect which programe is running.

Hmmm
I thnk u too interest in such things
but i want to do because my application has a lot of flash animations so i want to terminate all applications so that my application can run smoothly and continusoly.
One thng more in my app i hide the taskbar and desktop too but i want to terminate the running apps too.
I think u understand
