i don't think that would be necessary... you see, all you have to do is look for the right connection string then that does it ! you'll not have any problems with the queries cause all databases understands the standard queries.. (though there are very few changes when it comes to syntax depending on the database being used). try to visit this site : http://connectionstrings.com check the right connection string for oracle. believe me man, i tried vb with ms access, mysql, sqlserver 2000, sqlserver 2005, DB2 and ofcourse Oracle. ^^
