I need your help in tables..

Dear All

I'm a phd student. and I'm doing now a medicine research. I need your help in :
if I want to have a visual basic 2005 table (for example an Access table) that is connected to a program. The pogram will read a text from
a text box and try to find if there is any information from the table(the Access table).

I need your help in constructing such a program and teaching me how to connect a table to this program

I think you'd do better to check the web for VB tutorials (there are heaps out there - try Google). We're more geared toward helping developers who run into a specific problem in their code, not so much teaching beginning programmers.

What are the changes I should do for the following code in order to read from (Excel or Access tables instead of reading from textbox1 and textbox3):
