mde not finding backend.mdb

4 New Member
Hi Everyone.

I am supporting an Access db which is run from the workstations as mde and opens up the mdb on the server. This works fine on all PC's except for one. As I understand it the db has code to attach the backend and if it cannot find this it brings up a file Open Dialog box to prompt the user to select the new location, I cannot find a hard coded reference to the path so I am not sure where it is getting this from.

error message: D:\adc\data\public\cms2006 data\cmsback.mdb is not a valid path

On this one PC the D: drive is the CD rom.

Any help would be wonderful
