Sending a command to IE Or Explorer from Within A VB.net program

Hello all, i hope you can help with this one. I'm a bit new to vb... so
i may be making this way more complicated than it needs to be.

Here goes..

I'm in the process of making a program that closes down process's
before a user plays a highly demanding game, namely, counter strike
source.

(We've all grown a bit tired of having batch files to do this, and want
something that looks nice, and can do other things also.)

One of these other things, is a server connection box. I want it, so
that, if the user typed in the IP, and password to the server, by
clicking go, the program would go to IE, Tell it to start Steam, using
this string :

steam://IPGOESHERE;PASSWORDHERE

So, i really want an internet explorer bar within the program, either
that or a text box, which will get the ip and password then connect
that to ie.

I Can start the process of IE Already, just wondering how i make it go
to this specific location.
