Noob Here - How to Deploy Database When Publishing Application

I am just getting started with VB 2005 and created a small application that
connects to an Access DB during execution. When I publish the application
with VB 2005 the database is not included with the package. When I sent it
to a friend to try out he didn't have the database so the connection string
didn't work and the app failed.

Real confused here. If I add the database to the project and then Publish,
why doesn't it get packaged with the application?

PS: Maybe I'm supposed to use an installer to add the database to the
install package. What installer should I be using?

Sorry if this is REAL simple, but I'm learning.
