adding new IDE macros for Pre\Post Build steps

I'd like to have a post-build IDE macro that the value would be sourced from
something that would be easy to change with out checking out the project
from version control. I could parse something out from the debug
commandline for instance.

In other words, I'd like an IDE macro in the post build event that has a
value of the debug command line.

I don't know if adding a new macro is even possible but it seems feasible by
changing the micrsoft.common.targets file.

I could use an environment var but that is not so easy to change.

Anybody have any ideas...

Thanks,
jeff
