event log issue

hey all,

i have some simple code that writes the Application Event Log:

Dim anEventLog As New System.Diagnostics.EventLog
anEventLog.Source = "Application"
If anEventLog.SourceExists("Application") Then
anEventLog.WriteEntry("Hello World",
EventLogEntryType.Information)

It works but, in addition to my message i get the below as well. is there a
way to just print my stuff in the description box:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able
to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Hello
World.
thanks,
rodchar
