Forcing mail from my Queue folder

I am sending e-mails from my applications using the MailMessage object, with
SMTPMail.Server.Insert(0, "127.0.0.1") as the server. Sometimes it sends
okay, but other times it keeps the e-mails in the Queue folder of Mailroot.

Is there any way to flush the Queue folder automatically?
