listviewitem placement

I am custom drawing my listviewitems and they look the way I want and react
right. The size is good, the height in between the items is good, but the
width in between them is about 3X the amount I want..how can I adjust that?

TIA

Lespaul,

Assuming the listview is in detailview, than you can have a look at the
listview.columns(x).width

I hope this helps,

An interesting problem: I have a ListView with LabelEdit set to TRUE. When I change the label, I want to make some decisions as to whether the ListViewItem (that's just been edited) should stay in the ListView or not. I am constantly creating and destroying a singular object used within a class I wrote. To save a bit of time, I am considering using 'placement new'. I guess we could also debate this decision - but for the sake of this post ... I'm searching for an answer that assumes said decision. If I allocate memory in the class declaration: char...

Hi, I find that articles stating that 'placement new' constructs an object on a pre-allocated buffer and so takes less time. Actually, we have to consider the allocation of the buffer and then the construction of object using 'placement new'. So, Effectively it should be taking more time . What do you think ? I think,
