Saving configuration settings at runtime

Hey folks,
I converted an INI file to use app.config in VB.NET. I can read the settings
at runtime with ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings and work well, but is it
possible to write a new value at runtime?

Thanks for your help!

Application configuration files are not intended for storing user
preferences. Use "normal" XML files instead:
