Error 3218

Hi,

i got a stage problem.
A Customer runs his "server" under Win98.
His Client he works on runs under win2000 SP3.

My new programm requires JET 4.0 SP8 with DAO 3.6.
The old programm uses Jet 3.5 with DAO 3.5.

The new programm works fine so far,
but the old programm makes trouble.

On local drives, everythink works find,
but when the old programm wants to open
a database on a network drives,
the error 3218 accures.

This error wasn't there until SP3 was put on.

Do you have any good ideas, what i can do?

Is it usefull to update the server on Win2000?
