drawing on taskbar?

Does anyone know how to draw on the taskbar? IBM has a battery app that runs
outside of the systray (just to the left of it) and does not show up as a
toolbar either in the taskbar, and I was wondering how you go about doing
something like that.. thanks!

Hi,

I think you are looking for the NotifyIcon control.

no, as I have stated it is outside the system tray (the system tray is where
the notify icons are)... something similar to how the quick launch is on the
taskbar
