Error 6: Overflow

Hello All,
I have vendor application that written in VB 6.0 and backend Access 2000 and
also send data via client server to SQL server. Now when I try to synch with
server I got Error 6: Overflow with NT pro laptop but not on W2K laptop. What
could be the cause as specific to platform related? Both OS with up to date
on service pack. I tried reinstalling MDAC SP1, tried permission on DCOM,
setup client setup to use NamedPipes and TCP/IP but I am still getting this
error.

Also intrestingly to avoid error if I use slower connection to server I
don't get error. So means if I use high speed internet with VPN to connect or
if I am on LAN I get error but If I use 56K with VPN to connect to server no
error.

This NG is about Visual Basic.NET. You have a better chance of getting
qualified answers for your problem in

microsoft.public.sqlserver.*

or

microsoft.public.vb
