Am I reading this correctly?

On MSDN there's a new offer for the Visual Basic .NET Resource kit.

Does it include a fully working version of componentone?

Justin,
Yes! you get a complete copy of "ComponentOne Studio Enterprise for
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET" which includes both Win & Web controls.

When you install the resource kit, it says that it is a special edition of
the above, however when you register (primarily name & email address) they
do not appear to be crippled. It says you have a royalty free runtime...

Hope this helps
Jay

Agreed. I grabbed that as soon as soon as I saw it! You never know when
an offer like this will be removed!!

I too downloaded this right away. But really what is the motivation
behind giving away your four primary products. Is it a loss leader to
get the subscriptions going a final grasp at revenue before they go
belly up?

Well I'll use it, until it dies. Some of the components are very old
so how much value could the subscription be.
