I have created a UserControl and added it to my toolbox. It appears in
the toolbox with the icon I created for it. The problem is that when I
drag the control onto a form no code is generated. If I manually add
the code for creating the control to the form everything works fine. I
have created other controls w/o problems and cannot see anything I am
doing different in this case.
Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

I'm trying to create a C# composite control and have inherited
from UserControl. This new control contains 9 buttons with images on
them ( no text ).
Firstly, what is the best way to expose these 9 buttons to the
developers who will be using my control. I want them to be able to
change visibility, enablement, onClick etc for each button, but not be
able add any new buttons. I initially thought of exposing them as some

I've created a usercontrol which is hosted in Internet Explorer. It
with some action buttons. I could place all buttons on this
usercontrol but I did not. When the user presses one of the buttons i
detect some more action needs to be taken and open a dialogbox. using
ShowDialog. But IE finds a usercontrol opening a dialogbox dangerous

VB6/COM App Architecture: Windows Form hosts WebBrowser which loads
HTML snippets from local disk. Some of the HTML snippets contain
<objecttags for ActiveX Control. ActiveX Control loads and works
without issue.

Hi all,
I'd tried to follow the instructions from msdn for adding icon image for a
control. I've checked the name of bmp file is same as the control name
and turn the bmp file to "Embedded Resource". After building the project
again, the icon of my user control is the same as default. I'm not sure it's
related to my VB.Net version is an express edition or not? Anyone know
what's wrong ?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
