Hi
I created an C# windows forms application that holds a user control. The
user control itself is an editor for geographical information systems and is
based on an ActiveX Library for providing basic geografic operations. It
works fine most of the time, but sometimes it crashes with weird messages
and i'm not able to track the error down - to find out the reason for this
problem. It's some kind of an memory problem - I get the message...

I have figured out how to get this running by using Ant.Console as a
starting point for calling NAnt. I had to include NAnt.Core,
NAnt.DotNet & NDoc.Core in my project and it worked correctly.
But, since I already have NAnt installed on my system, I was hoping
that I would not need to include references to NAnt.Core, NAnt.DotNet
& NDoc.Core
I removed the references and set my path environment varible to point
at the NAnt\bin folder...

I am profiling my application VB.Net with the ANTS profiler from RedGate
Software because I have some significant performance issues. My application
is scrapping a webpage for content and then writing that information to a
database. When I run the profiler it tells me that the slowest method is
found in the namespace System.Windows.Forms and the method name is

Is there an equivalent to the "Application.Doevents" method in modules or
Windows services?
I want to make a Windows service that calls a DLL. The DLL would have all my
functions and it would be doing all the job, but some of the functions that
I'm using require calling something like "Application.Doevents" and I can't
use this because the DLL module is not an application.

Does anyone have an example of an application that can connect to a running
process and capture Trace.WriteLine calls like in SQL Server Profiler? I
know that we can inherit from a TraceListener class to write to files,
databases, etc..., but I would really like to attach to running .NET
processes and get the results without any logging and instead capture the
real-time results when troubleshooting.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
