Hi to all,
i have a treeview that i put some nodes in it with their repsective images.
If i try to change the image and set it to some other ImageList index,
nothing happens.

hello.
it was fine to have system image list class/component in C++/Delphi
in old times. you can obtain just image index for file
with shell and your list/treeview already draw file icon.
but .net's imagelist is sealed completely and doesn't implement any
'imagelist' interface.

I have a treeview which contains nodes of a class (classA) derived from
treenode.
These classA nodes may contain nodes of a class (ClassB) derived from
classA.
The form load populates a imagelist and calls a subroutine that assigns an
image to each node depending on its type.
If I expand a classA node, all is well. ie. I see the classA image on the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
