icon at bottom right of screen shows the sql server is not connected...how do I fix?

UPS World is not exporting data..there is an icon on the bottom right of computer screen that says sql server is not connected....when I click on the icon the sql server manager has no data, no server info...nothing. Is this sql server what is preventing UPS World from working correctly?

Scot,

Are you the person responsible for installing that piece of software? Your installation of UPS WorldShip might be running on a locally installed version of SQL Server. If your data is on SQL Server, if the server is not running you probably won't be able to access your data.

Look in Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs to see if you have SQL server installed.
