importing excel sheet having "Date" in Column names

Hi All,

I am new to MS SQL , when I import an excel file that contains "Dates" in its column names to MS SQL 2008, the date is not displayed in column name in MS SQL. Rather it shows F3, F4, F5. I have even tried to change the data format to "date". The excel is like

KPI Target_valye 25-May-2010 26-May-2010 ......

Kindly suggest your expert opinion.
Regards,
Awais Mushtaq

Did all the column changed to F1, F2, F3, F4...? or just that one column? You should specify that your file has a header row.

Good Luck!!!
