SQL Log & data file timestamps not changing

Hello,
I'm noticing that the last modified timestamps on our log & data files are not changing inspite of daily activity on the databases.

We're running SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition SP4. (Product version: 8.00.2039 (SP4) on Window 2003 Standard SP1

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
