trying to update a table with web developer studio 2005

I am trying to update a table on a sql 2000 or 2005 box ( am not sure what version its running how do I check?) I am so green I feel like kermit the frog!
computer is running windows 2000, production server is running 2003, my test box with a copy of the database is what I am working on. I have a table on my database (called xmlfiledata) which has the following column layout.
idxmlfile (autonumbered field) Active (boolean controls display) lastmodify(datefield) path(varchar path to xml file) body(text content of file which is in xml format)
ok now the problem I am having being so new to sql is that I cannot figure out how to add the body to my sql update statement.
because it doesn't like the tags, how do I pull this off? Sql complains about http already beingdefined sample xml format is as follows..
