How to secure "Data" folder after installing MSDE

P: 45

I created a backup of sql server 2000 database and restored the database on the client's computer that has MSDE installed.

Now how can I make sure nobody will be able to mess with the database (the log and data files found in the c:/program files/Microsoft SQL Server/MSSQL/Data ).

What happens if someone deletes these files? Is there a way to encrypt them or make them invisible, or move them somewhere else?
