Closing programs that use sockets

Hi all. I got a problem when using socket modules.
By using them I can't stop my program by pressing ctrl+c.
The only way to doit is by killing the python.exe process manually.
Is there a solution to avoid this?

You may find that CTRL/Break works even when CTRL/C doesn't.
