in DB2 we use COL1 INTEGER AS IDENTITY,

How to Declare a Column which needs to be incremented by 1 in postgreSQL

in DB2 we use COL1 INTEGER AS IDENTITY,
You can use serial type, or define a sequence and use it in table.
