Question and search for ODBC related postgreSQL questions

P: n/a

I do not find an ODBC related newsgroup using postgreSQL at the

Where can I find it ?

My short questions are:

If I use SQLSetPos to update a char(300) type column to set a string
like this test data: sgsfdjkggdjgsdgjfdlgdfug
I se only these data as changed: sgsfdjkggd

In princip, it will change, but what could I do wrong ?

If I try to use an extra handle to issue this:

UPDATE world SET objecttyp='ashdj', x=172, y=127, w=40, h=40 WHERE

Then SQLError returns SQLSTATE 00000 and no message in readable form.

Do I have to use a cursor library for postgreSQL and how to use it ?

Or is there a bug in the postgres implementation - handling cursors
correctly ?
