Cany anyone please advise if there is any other certification (to go on a C.V.) than Zend. When I did a Google search for PHP certs they were the only one that came up. Is there an industry standard qualification for working with PHP, yes I know experience counts but I'm looking for an exam. Paul

I am looking into form validation for my HTML form. I don't want to use javascript and was looking into using PHP. A crazy thought crossed my mind and I just wanted to get some input. What if I basically made the form one long if/then statement? I could ask for the first piece of information, test it against some conditions, then if it is...

I do what most programmers do -- we steal code from stuff we have written before, or accept code from others that works, before we attempt to write something altogether new. On a previous project I wrote code to upload pictures and music from the local drive to the server. It worked perfectly. I scarfed that code, without changing any...

Hi, I'm hoping that this can be done. I have a form, and upon clicking the submit button it calls another PHP script to save the data in a MySQL database. Of course since it is a FORM, all the variables are available to the save script. Once the data has been saved, I change the location and go to a summary page so the customer can see...

My mother, contrary to her usual habit, instead of coming to the elbow-chair by the fire, remained at the other end of the room, and sat singing to herself. 'Yes, to be sure. For some days afterwards, I am lost in rapturous reflections; but I neither see her in the street, nor when I call. The voice of the youthful servant became faint, but...

I have PHP 5 installed on my windows machine. I have a drop down menu that requires javascript. When I call <?php include "filename.php" ?> and rename my html file to .php, the Javascript doesn't run on the client. Is there some sort of setting required? Maybe a bug in php? Any information would be helpful.
