as i said in title i need complex example script for communicating with mysql db through dbi . maybe in a contest with some perl program that is calling that script.

Well, this is a learning forum and not a scripting service so you are going to have to write your own code. Granted, we will help you if you get stuck, but the leg work is all yours.

You should search cpan for the DBI module and read it. There are plenty of examples in that documentation or, just search the web using google for DBI and Perl and you should be able to find plenty of examples.
