Big problem with Oracle Portal Migration

Hi!!

I have a big problem. We have install the Oracle Portal release 2 and
the Oracle DB release 1, so the problem is that we want to migrate the
portal to another machine, but the documentation that i was reading say
that is necessary have the similar version in the two machines to export
and import tha components.

do you have any solution to this ...??
