Droping the table

hi,
I am getting this error while deleting a table. Table is not refferecing any table. Last insert failed after which I am getting this error.


SQL Error: ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
00054. 00000 - "resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified"
*Cause: Resource interested is busy.
*Action: Retry if necessary.

can I drop the table by overriding this NOWAIt

this problem occures when any other user is trying to edit the same record at this time system locks the row and returns this error
