Anyone used Google's 5 stars reviews?

Does anyone know if the 5 stars reviews are actually showing in google? I mean, is google counting this only if the users are using gmail addresses or a script created by me, where users are rating the products will also show in the products' searches?

Do they have a special script or any 5 stars reviews script will show anyway?
